Day Three: Somewhere Over the Rainbow.......

Today, we started a little earlier and made our way to McDonalds for a quick bite before hitting the road.  Our goal for today was to cover ground and put the state of Missouri, and part of Kansas behind.  After all, everyone is excited about getting to Colorado!  Driving through Kansas is a treat, it's not often that we are able to see for miles and miles while driving down the interstate.

We stopped for lunch in Lawrence, Kansas home of Kansas State University.  There were Jayhawk fans all around.  We arrived in Salina in the early afternoon and got ourselves checked int
o the hotel.  Once everyone was settled, we headed to the movies!  What a nice treat, sitting back and relaxing after a long day of riding.  The group was given four choices and everyone decided to see either The Internship or Now you See Me.  It seemed that everyone felt they made a good choice and enjoyed their movie.
