Day 25-26 Viva la GRAND CANYON?

I'm combining these two days because there are not a t of pictures of Las Vegas!  We left La Jolla bound for Nevada and the wonderland of Las Vegas.  There is not a lot for a group of teenagers to do in a city like Las Vegas, but we manage to have fun while we are there!

After checking into the hotel everyone loaded up and headed to Planet Hollywood, The Miracle Mile. We had dinner at the Miracle Mile, which is a large indoor shopping area that is painted to look like you are outside.  It's really a fascinating place with lots of places to eat.  It is also where the V Theater is located.  The V Theater is home to Variety Show that we saw while we were there.  It is a great, family friendly show and it was certainly entertaining.  We saw ju, ggling, comedy, acrobatics, magic and more!  So much fun!

After leaving the show, we took a drive down the Vegas strip to check out the lights on the famous stretch of road.

The next morning we loaded up to head to the Grand Canyon!  What a grand place it is too!  It is hard to believe that this spectacular place was created by nature.  We walked some and took pictures from a few of the over looks, then we headed to Angle Lodge where we ate lunch!  What a day it was, the weather was perfect.

After leaving the Grand Canyon we headed down into Sedona, and checked into our hotel.  The hotel may be simple in sight but the views all around it are breathtaking.  Sedona is a gorgeous place!

We unloaded and all met back by the pool, the chaperones ordered pizza and we had a little party by the pool!
